Kafritsas says it's high time to dive back into the Surf the Hi Surf that is !

Okay in todays Gold Coast Bulletin I read the following story:
GOLD Coast businessman Greg Kafritsas hopes to buy back the management rights to Hi Surf after the company he sold it to went into receivership.
The Surfers Paradise hotel is one of seven management rights that are subject to a tender campaign at the behest of receivers. Mr Kafritsas's offer, which has been lodged with receivers KordaMentha, needs body corporate approval before the deal is cemented.

Ten companies linked to Prime Apartments Hotels and Resorts (PAHR) moved into receivership earlier this year owing $12.5 million. Tony Freeman and Peter Bellomo are directors of each company.

Mr Kafritsas said that he was owed almost $700,000 by one of the companies. The management rights operator, who runs Outrigger Resort at Burleigh Heads and Club Surfers, said he wanted to buy back the rights to a hotel he loved.

He said he hoped the move would see him recoup the money he lost.

NOW HERE IS THE PROBLEM: Can anyone confirm this: I heard on the Grapevine that Tony Freeman is using his influence on family members who are on the Board of the Body Corporate to block this from happening. If this is true then shame on you Tony Freeman.

  1. YES I can confirm that Esther Dyer turns out to be (OOPS !) a Cousin to Tony Freeman and (OOPS !) she didn't disclose that to anyone at High Surf and (OOPS !) she also controls the Body Corporate Committee of which she is pushing the BC members to withhold consent of this happening so (OOPS !) you guessed it Tony Freeman can take control back but (OOPS !) he hasn't got any money.

  2. I am a Hi Surf Owner It was noted at Friday's EGM the Committee did not want to discuss this matter with owners they advised they wanted to discuss it privately. I then attended The Shore Restaurant for dinner that night and guess what Tony Freeman was there wining and dining the committee members, this is just a few nights before deciding on the Management Rights assignment to Kafritsas. we overheard him asking 2 of the committee members a Farmer and a Pet Shop Owner to invest with him to take back the Hi Surf Management Rights they asked him "what would Hi Surf Owners think of that" His reply was "don't worry the way I have structured my company Trusts no one will ever find out".
The Committee headed by Freemans cousin and possibly some investors will be voting on the assignment very soon. We will keep you posted on any developments.

  3. The Decision is in - NO SURPRISE !!!
(After recovering from a big night out with Tony Freeman)
The Committee Members have put Freeman and their own interests before those of the owners of Hi Surf and have refused the Karfrittsas application.
Now it looks like going to the courts meaning Freeman's cousin and the committee members will be USING BODY CORPORATE MONEY FOR THEIR OWN INTEREST TO TAKE ON THE COMMONWEALTH BANK (being The Mortgagee)
